Visual Narrative Project- Kolesa

This work is depicting the chair uprising and chairs fighting for pay and equal rights. The leader of the local Chair Union is depicted on the stage looking into the crowd rallying the other chairs to protest on the local school stage.

I wanted the blue chair in the center to draw in the eye the most, the eye can move in any direction to see the other chairs. There is proportion in how the chairs get smaller as they are further away. The value in the colors like on the stage or the gradient in between the chairs to represent space between them.

The story is in a world where all the inanimate objects we own are alive. In this image the chairs have had it with how they have been treated and demand better treatment by the students at the school. The blue chair in the center is the leader of the Chair Union in this school district and they are asking the other chairs to stand with the union so they can get better and more equal rights in the school.

My strengths would be in the idea and how odd it is, who thinks chairs would rebel? Growths include watercolor which I have not worked with very often, then the line art which I also don't work on much.
